Dedicated to New Zealand’s combat pilots, the aircraft they flew and the sacrifices they made, this museum features a replica of a Hawker Hurricane, a de Havilland FB5 Vampire and twin rows of gleaming classic cars – pride of place goes to the 1934 Duesenberg Model J, described as the finest car ever made in the USA. There’s a retro diner attached too!.
